Just Trade is a fab new brand for Wah Wah Shoes , a great find for us as we are constantly searching for fair trade collections to offer our customers. The company works with fair trade projects across the world. The range is extensive, so as a taster we have plumped for these fabulous animal pendants and metal shapes. We have Owls, Badgers, Polar Bears, Elephants, Sea Horses and Penguins. They are hand carved out of Tagua nuts. Known as vegetable ivory, tagua seeds, from a South American palm are environmentally sound so a perfect alternative to traditional animal ivory. These Tagua creatures are carved in Ecuador by Ronald and his friends who are part of a nationwide group of World Fair Trade Organisation producers.
